So you have installed TwinCAT or you had it already installed and Windows has installed this shiny new update and now when you want to start a PLC runtime on your computer and you are stuck with some kind error message from TwinCAT about Hyper-V being the problem?
The solution sounds simple. To turn of Hyper-V. But how to do it exactly? And the main reason I’m writing this….I have already turned off the Hyper-V but the problem is still there!🤔
There are numerous solutions on the internet and it’s a matter of time until you find all you need to actually turn it off. I have found this forum post that sums up everything you need to do in one place and separated into a few stages. So when the most straightforward solution won’t work you will just go the the next level👍
Yes, the article is for virtual machine software, but the problem is the same, to get Hyper-V out of way.
⭐ Enjoy your runtime TwinCAT! ⭐
